Through our new vendor relationship, Stratos Jets has access to both a Learjet 31 light jet and and a Learjet 60 mid-size aircraft. These aircraft are especially noted for their high performance capabilities that allow the aircraft to climb to safe altitudes in the hot, desert climate of Las Vegas. In addition, the Stratos Jets-approved aircraft are conveniently based at the McCarran International Airport (KLAS), only five miles south of the central business district of Las Vegas. In order for the Las Vegas-based air carrier to become an approved vendor, it was first required to meet with Stratos Jets’ strict and stringent air carrier criteria. This criteria required the aircraft operator to adhere to Federal Aviation Administration Part 135 regulations as well as Department of Transportation regulations. In addition, the vendor had to meet with our own high insurance and flight crew member requirements. Our air charter agency established this set of stringent criteria to ensure our clients’ safety on every charter flight.
After finding our new vendor to be in full compliance with these standards, Stratos Jets is now happy to provide air charter service to and from the Las Vegas area on two of the safest and most luxurious private aircraft in the industry.
