In an effort to provide a multitude of aircraft options for charter flights to and from the New York area, we recently invited one of the largest NY-based aircraft operators to join our prestigious Approved Vendors Program. Through our new vendor relationship, Stratos Jets can now provide on-demand charter service to and from the New York City metro area on one of the most diverse aircraft fleets in the country.
Our new vendor relationship will add value to our jet charter service in several ways. First, the vendor relationship will grant our air charter agency access to 14 of the safest and most desirable jet aircraft in the New York City area. These aircraft include (but are not limited to) a King Air B200, two Gulfstream IVs and three brand new Hawker 4000s. Each aircraft in the air carrier’s fleet has an average age of three years and at least $100 million of insurance, ensuring the safety and comfort of each flight.
The new vendor’s diversified fleet will enable Stratos Jets agents to arrange charter flights from New York to any destination in the world. The King Air B200, for example, can accommodate up to eight passengers and is the perfect aircraft for round-trip charter flights from New Jersey to Cape Cod. The Hawker 4000, the most advanced super-midsize aircraft in its class, can accommodate up to eight passengers over a range of more than 3,000 nautical miles. International charter flights from New York to London non-stop are also possible on the Gulfstream GIV.
In order for the New York operator to become an approved vendor, it was first required to meet with Stratos Jets’ strict and stringent air carrier criteria. This criteria required the aircraft operator to adhere to Federal Aviation Administration Part 135 regulations as well as Department of Transportation regulations. In addition, the vendor had to meet with our own high insurance and flight crew member requirements. Our air charter agency established this set of stringent criteria to ensure our clients’ safety on every charter flight.
After finding our new vendor to be in full compliance with these standards, Stratos Jets is now happy to provide jet charter service to and from the New York City area on the most diverse fleet of safe and luxurious jet aircraft. By inviting the aircraft operator to join our Approved Vendor Program, Stratos Jets hopes to provide the best air charter service to and from New York in the industry.
