Activities and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating in the development of a large number of projects related to marketing
- Generate new content for newsletters, press releases and blogs, etc.
- Oversee firm’s electronic marketing efforts and continually update company website
- Create various types of ads and marketing campaigns
- Implement firm’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs.
- Research new potential markets to develop marketing strategies for the firm
- Responsible for hiring and overseeing marketing department
Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to capture and manage market trends
- Able to think at a high level of abstraction and an ability to think out-of-the-box
- Must be a self-motivator, highly-organized, demonstrates, and able to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to quickly respond to last minute changes
- Great attitude
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism,Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
- At least three years in marketing director role within professional environment.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Marketing management and strategic planning experience
- A proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program
- Proficiency working in a Mac environment and ability to learn new software applications
