There are NASCAR races, and then there’s the Daytona 500. Dubbed the ‘Super Bowl of stock car racing,’ this high-octane event draws an estimated 140,000 race fans from across the world every February.
The 66th Daytona 500, which goes on Feb. 18, 2024, is a chance for race fans to visit the newest speedway on the NASCAR circuit. Unveiled in 2017, Daytona International Speedway’s $400 million overhaul was designed to improve the spectator experience. With an $18 million purse, which is by far the largest in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup race series, it’s easy to see why the Daytona 500 holds so much appeal for both fans and racers.
With more than 40 drivers attaining top speeds approaching 200mph over 200 laps, the action is fast and fierce. But perhaps the thing that makes this race so unique is it’s the first event on the NASCAR calendar. Almost every other major sporting event holds its marquee event at the end of the season.

We prefer to finalize our itinerary, plane and crew at least a week in advance. We did not get things completely final until the day of the actual flight. Secondly, we prefer to pay post-flight rather than pre-flight. You were able to make an exception in our case which was appreciated. Lastly, the quality of the catering service from STT was atrocious. It was inedible.

Even with a winter storm, my wife being delayed, De-icing and two sick kids on-board, Stratos updated me while I was over seas and I knew everything was handled without any issues. Worked with Kerry Hill and as always, she delivered excellent service. First date departure had to be delayed due to a mechanical issue with the aircraft and she kept me well informed. When the revised departure date came, she worked continuously to get a hangar for the aircraft in order to help avoid costly de-icing then next morning. Everything was lovely, no hiccups. One piece of advice, when travelling to Turks and Caicos, make sure you have a clear address for your destination. The customs officer held us for twenty-five minutes trying to figure out where we were staying. That was a little frustrating, but it all worked out. Pre trip work up seemed very professional. Crew had plane positioned on time and assisted with loading. Just my wife and I and two dogs. It was the dogs first flight so we had some concerns but the crew did a great job in getting them aboard and settled down. flight was uneventful and all worked as planned. No issues at all. Very good
Same on return flight except we arrived a good half hour early but crew jumped to task and loaded us and dogs promptly for return. Only item worth mentioning was during climb out to altitude both my wife and I heard numerous bumping sound on both sides of fuselage up and down the sides and top. We have owned our own planes and owned shares in jets through Flight Options and chartered often over the years and we have never had this type of noise. It almost sounded like rivets coming out or random bird strikes (which I knew it was not). I mentioned it to the co-pilot and he told me to report it so maintenance could be sure to check it out. Said it may be a maintenance issue on an older aircraft but a first for me. After attaining altitude the noise did not reoccur. All else went according to schedule and the pilots were very professional and assisted on and off with dogs and luggage. I would use again this service. Thank

When questioned they were extremely RUDE. I was told that the Pilots went to eat lunch so they kept myself and family waiting over an hour past wheels up time. Are there additional costs per private jet rental passenger?
There are no additional costs per passenger. At Stratos Jet Charters, we base our private jet rental prices per hour, not per guest.

Additional Concierge Charges
We do charge for some of our additional concierge services, such as in-flight catering and entertainment, hotel bookings and ground transportation. We know our clients’ time is precious, so we offer the value and convenience of “one-stop-shopping” through our Trip Support team. When you book a flight with Stratos Jet Charters, we can take care of all the logistics, including booking hotels, meeting spaces, limousines and tickets to special events. That way you can relax, and enjoy your trip.
Empty Leg Charters
Also, since we charge per hour, not per passenger, there are travel bargains to be found with our Empty Leg Flights. Many of our private jet rental flights are one-way, and then we need to move the aircraft to a new destination. To reduce the costs of flying an empty aircraft, we offer discounts to travelers with flexible itineraries. Clever passengers will sometimes split the cost with their fellow travelers, thereby reducing the cost for everyone on the flight.
Can I make last-minute changes to my itinerary?
If your plans need to change, we will do everything in our power to accommodate the changes. One of the benefits of hiring Stratos Jet Charters is that we have much more flexibility than commercial airlines and can provide many more air charter services.
We have two teams that can help you. Here is a brief description of each:
Charter Sales Agents
This is the initial contact team. They evaluate your travel needs to identify the appropriate aircraft type for your travel plan. Pricing is determined by aircraft availability, its position related to the intended departure location and the position of where the aircraft needs to be after performing the customer’s flight.
Trip Support Team
Once the aircraft has been selected, Trip Support works with the customer, the air carrier and all concierge service providers to organize all of the travel details. Trip Support is responsible for coordinating:
Departure time
Departure and arrival at the Fixed Base departure location
Ensuring assigned crew members meet Stratos experience requirements
Making sure the insurance is current and everyone is protected
Coordinating all concierge services
In reference to last-minute itinerary changes, any changes would go through the Trip Support Team.

We enjoyed the flight, aircraft, the friendly pilots, the aircraft waiting area and the service. Daniel Morejon was great in arranging everything and staying in touch with us through out the entire trip. Overall very happy and if rates come down a bit, will definitely use you again :)

Passenger stated that the jet's interior was shoddy and showed that the jet wasn't well taken care of. Said crew was nice. Stated no coffee available although I had specified de-caf to be provided and followed that up with company client services requesting same.

Booking was great, Kyle is wonderful a asset to your company. However the pilots were not. They were not there on time never offered an apology or explained as to why. When questioned they were extremely RUDE. I was told that the Pilots went to eat lunch so they kept myself and family waiting over an hour past wheels up time. I arrived at 12:30 for a 1:00 flight they arrived at 1:30 for a 1:00 flight with BAD attitudes

Our company attempted for 2 days to secure a private jet for our business trip out of Tucson, AZ to Ban Nuys, CA. Then I contacted Stratos Jet.
