Established in the Fraser Valley in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Abbotsford has the largest area of any city in the province at 145 square miles. The Canada-US border is located in the southern part of Abbotsford across from the town of Sumas, WA, while the city of Vancouver is 44 miles northwest along the Trans Canada Highway.
