Another fun attraction for families is the NPH2O Family Water Park, which offers a five-level waterslide playground For those who love 10-pin, duckpin, or five-pin bowling, a visit to the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame is in order. Located across the street from Six Flags, the museum exhibits the 5,000-year history of the worldwide sport of bowling. Visitors to the University of Texas will want to look at the stars at the campus’ modern planetarium, while a visit to the River Legacy Living Science Center, located in River Legacy Park, features aquariums, terrariums and interactive exhibits. The park also offers a large green space with forested trails along the West Fork Trinity River.

With our family of 8 we we flew with speed and comfort from a blizzard ridden north to Florida. Commercial airports were still dealing with cancelled flights and major delays...we felt very fortunate.

This was probably the 3rd flight that the weather conditions were disregarded and I was told the flight was safe and would be comfortable. While we did land safely, the known turbulence was so intense I left my seat at one point, was thrown from side to side (no vomit bags around) and I was needing to do every breathing technique known to keep myself calm and not hyperventilate. While the crew and all people involved are extremely professional, disregarding weather reports with a strong wind advisory is irresponsible not only for safety but for the customers comfort. I learned upon landing that other flights in that same airport had cancelled so why would mine fly even with the concern I expressed. Will the company lose money to reschedule? I will find it difficult to trust them in the future on any flight with weather advisories.
