Located in southern Alberta, Calgary is the fourth largest populated city in Canada, and one of the country’s wealthiest. Located just east of the Rocky Mountains and near the popular tourist towns of Banff and Lake Louise, Calgary is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Prairies.
When you fly into Calgary on a private jet charter, you’ll be in its urban center which is subdivided into five distinct neighborhoods. Meanwhile, the city’s downtown core is marked by the 626-foot Calgary Tower as well as the Saddledome Stadium, home of the Calgary Fames NHL hockey team.
Taking a private jet charter into Calgary for business is important, too. Since it’s a hub for some of the world’s energy production, many professionals in the oil and gas industry do business in Calgary. Home to the offices of BP Canada, Canadian Natural Resources Limited, Cenovus Energy, Encana, and others.
Calgary is home to 87% of Canada’s oil and natural gas producers, and 66% of its coal producers. Other employers in the area that are common destinations for business people coming into Calgary on private jet charters include Shaw Communications, Nova Chemicals, and Telus. Calgary has the second highest concentration of business head offices in Canada, behind Toronto.
And don’t forget private jetting into Calgary for winter sports. In 1988, Calgary became the first Canadian city to host the Winter Olympic Games, and its Olympic Park is still used as a training facility for high-performance athletes. It is also open to the public with numerous activities available for visitors. Of course, Calgary is also home to Canada’s largest rodeo and agricultural fair, the Calgary Stampede.
We had a great experience thanks to the help of stratos. I will use them again as they were professional and very timely.
