Known as “Vehicle City,” Flint is located along the Flint River in the state of Michigan. The birthplace of General Motors way back in 1908, and the former home of the massive automobile manufacturing complex known as Buick City, Flint has had some economic and environmental struggles since the 2008 financial crisis. However, the city is starting to rebound, with a number of the city’s industrial spaces starting to see life again and new businesses opening their doors. Besides industry, Flint is also an educational hub. There are 25 colleges within 50 miles of the city, with the closest being Kettering University. Some other notable education institutes include:

Flint has a number of worthwhile events and attractions that make it an interesting city to visit. Make sure to check out the surrounding countryside, which is laden with fruit orchards and farm markets. To get an idea of Flint’s past, a visit to the Sloan Museum in the Flint
Cultural Center is a must. The museum incudes the Buick Automotive Gallery and Research Center, which exhibits a large display of classic and concept Buicks, Chevrolets, and other locally built automobiles. A large campus, the Flint Cultural Center is also home to the:- Longway Planetarium

Located next to the cultural center is the Applewood Estate, a gentleman’s farm built in 1916 for the co-founder of General Motors, Charles Stewart Mott. The home and extensively landscaped grounds —open to the public from May through October— encompass approximately 34 acres, including an orchard with 29 varieties of heritage apples. For delicious Michigan apples and other fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and wares, make sure to visit the Flint Farmers’ Market, which has been recognized as one of the American Planning Association’s Great Public Spaces in America. Recently relocated back to its original Union Street building downtown, the market is open year round and features an atrium where you can enjoy lunch, a rooftop bar, demo kitchen, and an art gallery.

Good experience, although your emails sometimes look more as a marketing email than an itinerary revision. Still getting used to the sales force platform, but if I may give you guys a feed back, try to avoid too many colors and pictures on the email as they sometimes look like marketing/sales email then important information about the trip. That's my 2 cents.

Worked with Kerry Hill and as always, she delivered excellent service. First date departure had to be delayed due to a mechanical issue with the aircraft and she kept me well informed. When the revised departure date came, she worked continuously to get a hangar for the aircraft in order to help avoid costly de-icing then next morning. As always great coordination. I was not on the flight but rather my family and Stratos arranged everything. Even with a winter storm, my wife being delayed, De-icing and two sick kids on-board, Stratos updated me while I was over seas and I knew everything was handled without any issues. Once again: Joel, Sarah and Sandra delivered a seamless experience as well as the pilots and ground crew. There was 5 feet of snow in Steamboat Springs after a blizzard (Hayden Airport) and we took off perfectly and had a very smooth flight despite weather. The jet was beautiful and the awesome pilots tolerated our golden retriever trying to take over the navigation of the plane and two cats meowing. Stratos arranged for transportation home and the driver was so pleasant. Super happy again and will continue to only use them. Thank you again!

I made all of the arrangements for the charter flight for my boss and his family. I worked with Joel Thomas personally, who took the time with me to show the jet options available, all the while considering my boss's medical issues and care requirements. He emailed a jet comparison guide with photographs to view side-by-side so that I could make a wise and informed decision, and walked me through them over the phone. He was determined to provide the best possible experience for everyone. Joel made it all so easy, and it was clear after conversations with him that he has a heart for people and genuinely cares about their needs. I ordered in-flight catering, over the phone, which could not have been any easier. The food was plentiful and exceptional! My boss called me the next day asking that I inquire as to who the local caterer was that supplied the food, as he wants to make sure that we use them in the future. They staged all of the food on beautiful white platters that looked classy and elegant, as though it was all prepared for red carpet guests. And every selection was freshly prepared that day and over the top in flavor! The pilot was very nice and personable and clearly cared about the comfort and safety of his passengers. The plane was extremely comfortable and very luxurious. The seating was perfect for the six of them and their cat, Molly! I received a call the next day from my boss's grown daughter, and all she did was rave about how it was first class all the way! She said I always do such a great job. LOL! It was Joel and the Stratos team that did all the work! My part was easy! Ohhh, and Joel also went out of his way to arrange for ground transportation upon their flight's arrival. I can say from personal experience over the years, that flying does not get any better than going first class with Joel Thomas and his team at Stratos Jet Charters. I want to thank them for making me look like the best assistant ever!!

Kyle immediately answered the phone when I called, after normal work hours, needing a plane the next morning. He worked with me for hours to find the right plane. I flew out the next morning at 9am.
