When it comes to the weather in this part of California, you can usually expect to keep fairly warm with summer temperatures reaching record highs of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter months, the temperature has been known to drop below freezing, but you may usually expect average temperatures of approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit. First time flying on a private plane. Knowing the exact layout inside & manner of boarding. Originally inquired about a Lear jet 35 & then confirmed a citation ll. Not a problem for me & my husband but for the 102 year old traveling with us was difficult to board as initial step into plane was 18 inches & the crew had to find a step stool. Steps were little and required several people to board & inboard her. The crew of Lance & Meagan were exemplary & would fly with them anytime

From the moment we arrived at your facility where one employee came to greet us and take our luggage to the friendliness of the pilots and their updates during the flight to the thank you by the pilots after arrival, Stratos was wonderful. The one item that I realize is out of your control is the Signature waiting area at EYW. When we left, there was a family of 5 without masks. Masks are required. When we returned, the same experience, a group of 2 couples without masks were laughing and not maintaining social distancing.

This was probably the 3rd flight that the weather conditions were disregarded and I was told the flight was safe and would be comfortable. While we did land safely, the known turbulence was so intense I left my seat at one point, was thrown from side to side (no vomit bags around) and I was needing to do every breathing technique known to keep myself calm and not hyperventilate. While the crew and all people involved are extremely professional, disregarding weather reports with a strong wind advisory is irresponsible not only for safety but for the customers comfort. I learned upon landing that other flights in that same airport had cancelled so why would mine fly even with the concern I expressed. Will the company lose money to reschedule? I will find it difficult to trust them in the future on any flight with weather advisories.
