I was frantically looking last minute for a private jet to transport myself and a family member with early onset memory loss from Minneapolis, MN to Keene, NH. I found Stratos Jet Charters online and they caught my eye. From the first phone call to Eric Bold, the broker, to the landing in Keene, NH, I was completely amazed at how easy it was to book the flight and get the details in order. Eric was super sharp and made the entire booking simple and fast in a very professional way. He was also totally available by phone immediately when I needed to talk with him. Sarah, also, helped us with catering and the passenger manifesto and she was just as competent. The pilots, Jeff and Deanna, made us feel very secure and confident about the flight and our comfort. Stratos helped us make an amazing memory … I flew my elderly parents (90+ years old) from SC to PA for the day to spend time with our entire family. Once again: Joel, Sarah and Sandra delivered a seamless experience as well as the pilots and ground crew. There was 5 feet of snow in Steamboat Springs after a blizzard (Hayden Airport) and we took off perfectly and had a very smooth flight despite weather. The jet was beautiful and the awesome pilots tolerated our golden retriever trying to take over the navigation of the plane and two cats meowing. Stratos arranged for transportation home and the driver was so pleasant. Super happy again and will continue to only use them. Thank you again!

Eastern Air Services (crew and plane) were wonderful. Stratos micro obsession with baggage and weights was beyond logical and anything that I had ever experienced in prior charters. Turned out there was PLENTY of room in cargo for additional baggage and that my guests were no where near any weight limitation. The only reason I tolerated the craziness was the price differential. Next time, if they are not the best price I am going back to my regular charter companies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kyle Jones was terrific about answering all of my questions PROMPTLY. Stratos gave us the best price and was best about getting all info to us. I wrote to Kyle many times as I was extremely nervous about flying. He was always reassuring. Pilots were friendly and professional. Transport people wore masks and gloves and were kind. Plane was very clean and when I asked for more disinfectant wipes, I got them without being made to feel I was being too cautious. Take-off and landing were a pleasure as was the flight. The thunderstorm was scary but that was out of the pilots control

We decided at the last minute to escape from Florida as hurricane Irma was bearing down on us, and Stratos came through for us. Despite our first choice airport running out of fuel, they managed to get some at another and we got out with about 1 hour to spare. It was a hectic time, with everyone else scrambling to escape, but Stratos made the whole experience simple and efficient for us. We will definitely fly with them another time, preferable when we're not all stressed about a hurricane aimed right at us!

Pilot did a terrible job of synchronizing the engines. It was bad enough at one point that the two guest passengers were worried we would need an emergency landing. I have flown on Hawkers for 15 years now and never had that experience. Crew was very nice, but the pilot needs some instruction. It was very disconcerting.

Glenn was excellent to work with. I spoke with several charter companies before choosing Stratos. Glenn is the reason I chose Stratos Jet to bring my elderly parents home during the initial break of the COVID-19. He was professional, knowledgeable and on top of every detail. This was our first experience with a charter flight and Glenn explained the entire process from start to finish which helped me keep my anxiety in check. My parents flew from Florida to Ohio without any issues. They said the aircraft crew were professional and confident and made them feel safe. The plane was basic, cabin was small so it was a little challenging for older people with limited mobility. My parents are short, 5'4 and 5'1 and both had to duck down to get on and off the plane and while inside the cabin. That being said, we were given the option of a more luxurious cabin but chose not to spend the extra money. Stratos took care of getting my elderly parents home quickly, safely and allowed us to minimize the risks of commercial flying at this time.

The only suggestion I can make would be that when sending revised itineraries or updated information is that somehow you reference what is new or updated info. This trip was to return home from our 5.5 month winter sojourn in Florida. We had planned everything around this return date. Our cars had been shipped home that day. We had run down all the food. The cancellation occurred when we were out for dinner the night before the planned trip. We therefore did not find out about it until about 10pm. Anthony did a good job of helping with the recovery over the next hour. He responded instantly to almost every email. Unfortunately, because everything for ourselves and our fellow passengers had been planned around leaving on that particular day, we were very limited in our selection of recovery flights. As a result we paid an extra $7k+. Once that was settled and I had figured out how to get the extra money to you quickly enough, things went smoothly. When the flight was first booked (months ago) I had expressed some discomfort with the fact that the plane operator was so small and seemed to be focused on another business model. Anthony said that he had great experience with them and their reliability. It was unfortunate that my concerns turned out to be correct. As things have turned out, it now seems to me that I should be booking my flights right at the last minute, not rely on leaving on a certain date and, perhaps, even trying to catch an empty leg.

As far as I can tell the flight was great. My nephew, his wife and their dog flew from California to Guam for a move. The airport they flew from was changed the day prior to departure due to weather. The catering however didn't make it to the airport so they were on the plane for 15 hours with only the complimentary snacks and the crew shared some of their food with them. When you fly private you expect things to go smoothly...that's why you're willing to pay the extremely high price for. In my opinion there were opportunities missed to make it right. Since they had to refuel in Hawaii there was at least 6 hours to get some kind of catering for them when they landed in Hawaii. I realize that catering needs 24 hours notice but someone couldn't gone above and beyond to make things right and get them fresh fruit and veggie platter with a plain hot pizza or something to give them something other than snacks. I know if the CEO of Stratos was flying this catering issue would've been unacceptable.

Carol - Thank you for bringing this to my attention and you are certainly right.  The ball was dropped.  I have spoken with the private flight advisor regarding the matter and our day of flight process was not followed.  Not having something ready in Hawaii during the fuel-stop is truly a missed opportunity.  I am truly sorry for our misstep and the poor experience this must have been for your nephew and his family.
