- The 2019 population estimate is 33,962.
- In 1931, pilot Clyde Pangborn and copilot Hugh Herndon flew from Japan to East Wenatchee, becoming the first aviators to fly nonstop across the Pacific. Charter flights to Wenatchee still land at Pangborn Memorial Airport, named after this aviation pioneer.
- Over the last twenty years, many Wenatchee area fruit orchards have converted to wineries. Each season, the soil and vintages improved. The wine industry is now one of the top economic drivers in the region, with over a dozen local wineries to explore.

As always great coordination. I was not on the flight but rather my family and Stratos arranged everything. Even with a winter storm, my wife being delayed, De-icing and two sick kids on-board, Stratos updated me while I was over seas and I knew everything was handled without any issues. My representative Simon did a really good job explaining my options and arranging our charter. Disappointed our charter Was 30 minutes late due to routine maintenance. Since it was routine, obviously it should have been scheduled to not interfere with our flight schedule. One of the big reason for the charter was to avoid sitting around a lounge in the Covid era. Due to the delay, that’s exactly what we did. Small issues, but water wasn’t working in lavatory, cabin temperature was a bit erratic, and air vent dripped water. Crew was courteous and flight was fine.
