This was our first experience chartering a jet, and it was wonderful! I reached out to 40 private jet companies. We chose Stratos because Daniel went above and beyond from day one. He was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about the aircraft. We weren't even sure what we were asking for in the beginning. We just had a checklist we were looking for. The aircraft was fine except for the AC. It either had to be run a full blast (we were wrapped up in blankets) or it had to be off in which case we were very hot.

Plane was not clean. One pilot claimed to have a mask but never wore it, despite being told to. My booking with Stratos was clear and should have been obvious even if I hadn’t specifically asked for a clean plane and a masked crew. My wife and I neither ate (to not remove our masks) nor used the bathroom ( the unmasked pilot had to use the bathroom shortly after departure). By far our most uncomfortable air travel made worse by the fact that it was private.

Having one, main point of contact for each trip would be helpful so we don't get calls or emails from several different people within the company. Everyone involved was courteous and helpful in getting a last minute emergency trip arranged. However, the premise for using your services was to be GUARANTEED ARRIVAL by a SPECIFIC TIME. Neither the departure nor arrival was anywhere close to what was promised. Hence, our reasons for hiring Stratos to take us became unnecessary and a wasted expense

From the first quote and phone call to departing the plane and follow up, service was outstanding! Frank (our point of contact) saw to every question and requirement we had with professionalism, courteousness, and speed. I am very used to hiccups and miscommunications when traveling, but with this trip there were absolutely none. The flight crew was friendly, accommodating, and very good at what they do. The flight was probably the smoothest I've ever had. I know that depends on a lot of factors, but it definitely added to the experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use Stratos Jets in the future.

As far as I can tell the flight was great. My nephew, his wife and their dog flew from California to Guam for a move. The airport they flew from was changed the day prior to departure due to weather. The catering however didn't make it to the airport so they were on the plane for 15 hours with only the complimentary snacks and the crew shared some of their food with them. When you fly private you expect things to go smoothly...that's why you're willing to pay the extremely high price for. In my opinion there were opportunities missed to make it right. Since they had to refuel in Hawaii there was at least 6 hours to get some kind of catering for them when they landed in Hawaii. I realize that catering needs 24 hours notice but someone couldn't gone above and beyond to make things right and get them fresh fruit and veggie platter with a plain hot pizza or something to give them something other than snacks. I know if the CEO of Stratos was flying this catering issue would've been unacceptable.

Carol - Thank you for bringing this to my attention and you are certainly right.  The ball was dropped.  I have spoken with the private flight advisor regarding the matter and our day of flight process was not followed.  Not having something ready in Hawaii during the fuel-stop is truly a missed opportunity.  I am truly sorry for our misstep and the poor experience this must have been for your nephew and his family.

I took a trip to NYC for New Year's Eve with my wife and another couple, the whole Times Square experience was amazing. Danny is a ROCKSTAR, he took care of every detail and stays in constant contact with me ensuring all my trips are seamless and effort-free on my part. This trip had a snag or two with planes and availability. Danny once again handled everything in a truly professional manner and kept me in the loop, even texting and talking to me on Sunday night! The only suggestion I can make would be that when sending revised itineraries or updated information is that somehow you reference what is new or updated info. Good experience, although your emails sometimes look more as a marketing email than an itinerary revision. Still getting used to the sales force platform, but if I may give you guys a feed back, try to avoid too many colors and pictures on the email as they sometimes look like marketing/sales email then important information about the trip. That's my 2 cents.

My boss recently travelled to Europe for the entire month of August. During that time his jet had mechanical issues and could no longer fly where he wanted. He had about 12 flights left in his trip around Europe and Stratos Jet Charters, especially Heather Latch, saved our lives. They were able to accommodate 90% of the trips he wanted at the time he wanted. She really was a life saver for myself and my boss. I will definitely use Stratos Jets again and work with Heather any day of the week! They are magnificent!!
