Phenom 300 Jet Charter
The Phenom 300 business charter has quickly taken over one of the top overall performers in the light jet class.
If you’re looking for a business charter plane with best-in-class performance, comfort and utility, look no further than the Phenom 300. It has only been on the market since 2008, and it has already surpassed all other executive jets for units delivered, with 60 sent out in 2013.
Brazilian-based Embraer already had a good thing going with the Phenom 100, but in the interest of passenger comfort and performance, they went ahead and:
- Stretched out the fuselage
- Gave it powerful (and quiet) Pratt & Whitney engines
- Improved the cabin interior
Like Embraer did with the Phenom 100 business charter, they teamed up with BMW Designworks to create a refined, spacious-feeling interior. They achieved this by using:
- Clean lines
- Muted colors
- Minimalist design
- Ample natural light
In fact, the windows in the Phenom 300 are larger than those found in many mid-size jets.
Another area where the Phenom excels is the lavatory, which incorporates a number of thoughtful design features:
- Solid sliding door
- Full-size potty
- Generous basin
For a business charter than can fly nearly 2,000 nautical miles, this is a nice perk.
Up front, the cabin features a decent sized galley, capable of providing your daily meals and drinks for up to nine passengers (six is the standard configuration). And for those using the Phenom 300 for sporting adventures, the 66 cubic feet in the external baggage compartment can handle larger items such as golf clubs, large duffel bags and skis.
With the Pratt & Whitney PW535 turbofans, this business charter can reach cruising speeds of 324 mph. It’s also designed to take off from shorter runways (as short as 3,500 feet) and can hold as much as 2,416 pounds of payload.
Embraer uses Garmin’s G1000 avionics suites (renamed the ‘Prodigy’), which features advanced collision avoidance technology and is renowned as one of the safest, most user-friendly systems available.
