Compared to the 700, the 850 model generates way more power. It produces an extra 150 shaft-horsepower to be exact. This can be attributed to the Dash-66D variant of the exquisite Pratt & Whitney PT-6A engine, which delivers 850 shp. The cabin of the Socata TBM 850 is 123 cubic feet, with measurements of:

- 4 feet tall
- 13.3 feet long
