Stratos Jet Charters has built a solid reputation as the go-to broker for on-demand charter travel. But there are other aspects of our business that we are equally proud of. Specifically, our emergency flight services can be a matter of life and death for our clients and their families. That’s a humbling responsibility we take very seriously. When disasters, pandemics, political uprisings, and medical emergencies arise, call Stratos Jet Charters for help.

Here are three ways we can provide emergency flights during a crisis.

Air ambulance

Our air ambulance flights are our most widely-used emergency service. We can arrange rapid jet transport for patients under the care of medical professionals. The aircraft we hire are configured to accommodate stretchers, life-support equipment, and medical personnel safely. In addition to emergency flights, our air ambulances can also transport patients for scheduled treatment at a distant medical center.

Evacuation flights

When unforeseen events happen while you’re away from home, we’re ready. Last year, we were able to evacuate families and employees from COVID-19 hotspots before the lockdown. In any uprising or natural disaster, the first response should be “We need to get out NOW.” A nimble charter jet can usually get to a regional airport even when major airports and highways are clogged or unavailable.

Emergency flights post-disaster

Sometimes events unfold so rapidly, there’s no time to evacuate before the crisis. If your team or family needs to be rescued after a catastrophe, we urge you to call us. We have the experience and aircraft network to coordinate an emergency flight from the nearest accessible airport. Likewise, we can get your medical team, urgent supplies, or humanitarian aid to the stricken area. As an on-demand charter broker, we’re adept at handling the logistics required for complex flight missions.

Health & Safety In-flight

Your well-being is important to us, even when you are not on an emergency flight. While booking your emergency flight, it’s important that you:

  • Advise us during your booking if you require accessibility for walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.
  • Inform our agents of your oxygen needs during booking, so we can ensure a safe flight for everyone. We’ll need to make sure you can bring an approved oxygen concentrator (canister) aboard your private jet flight. You can find a list of FAA-approved oxygen devices here
  • Let us know if you or another passenger is pregnant. We always recommend checking with a doctor before flying. Generally speaking, if cleared by a doctor, pregnant passengers can fly up to 36 weeks of gestation.

So, when the situation requires an emergency flight, please call us. Even if you have questions about flying with a medical condition, or need to arrange ground transportation as part of your flight, we can help.
