National Business Aviation Association (NBAA)

NBAA is an acronym for National Business Aviation Association. It is an organization based in the United States that promotes the use of general aviation to enhance the efficiency and operational capabilities of companies around the world. Currently, the NBAA represents and advocates for more than 11,000 companies worldwide, including Stratos Jet Charters.

NBAA is a non-profit organization that operates in Washington, DC. It has been in existence since 1947, and among its chief goals is to oversee the continued growth and success of business aviation. Furthermore, it participates in ongoing initiatives aimed at improving:

  • Aviation safety
  • Operational efficiency
  • Industry regulations

The NBAA lobbies on behalf of its members, lending its voice on important issues such as:

  • Airspace access
  • FAA reform
  • Modernization of air traffic control technology
  • Aircraft noise
  • International aviation policy and standards

Annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition

The NBAA is continually involved in events across the United States, but none are bigger than its annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE). Regarded as the world’s largest civil aviation trade show, this three-day event brings together industry stakeholders, including:

  • Manufacturers
  • Service providers
  • Aircraft owners
  • Jet charter consumers

BACE typically draws tens of thousands of visitors and participants, who come to see everything from celebrity keynote speakers to product announcements to aircraft exhibits.
