7 Things You Must Know Before You Book Your next Charter Flight – Part 3
As leaders in the private jet charter industry, Stratos Jet Charters believes that an educated consumer is our best client. That’s because in most objective ways that you can measure, we come out on top of our competition. In this series, we are examining the Top 7 Questions That You Should Ask before you book your next charter flight.
#3 Is the aircraft that I will fly on registered with the FAA?
In addition to safety standards and flight crew credentials, aircraft registration with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is one of our top concerns for private jet charter travelers. Stratos Jet Charters is dedicated to keeping all of our clients safe, and we guarantee that every private aircraft in our database is FAA registered.
The FAA Aircraft Registry serves a similar purpose as the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), maintaining a thorough database of civilian aircraft in the United States. Every registered plane is given an official registration number (often called the “N” number), which is posted clearly on the aircraft’s fuselage or tail. The FAA also stores a detailed description of the aircraft, as well as the name and address of its registered owner.
Registration renewal is required every three years, and we make sure that every charter jet we offer is up-to-date. When you fly with Stratos Jet Charters, you only fly on aircraft registered with the FAA.
#4 What type of insurance coverage does my operator have?
Stratos Jet Charters verifies that our charter aircraft operators meet insurance requirements by utilizing leading independent safety auditors ARG/US and Wyvern. We also keep updated records on all our approved vendors, and can easily provide you with a copy of the operator’s air carrier certificate, D085, and/or insurance standards.
Additionally, we follow a strict company policy to provide an approved ARG/US or Wyvern safety third-party safety audit to any client who requests one for any charter flight booked through our agency.
We employ these strict standards to keep our clients safe and to provide them with peace of mind throughout their travels. Many charter agencies are only able to offer a best price guarantee due to unsafe practices, such as chartering aircraft with operators who lack adequate insurance coverage. Conversely, we’re proud to say that our low prices are made possible by maintaining genuine relationships with both our clients and our charter operators, while still meeting insurance requirements. This allows us to obtain multiple competitive bids, and then pass the savings onto you — all while keeping you covered.
We hope that you’ll give us a chance to show you the Stratos Jets difference on your next charter flight.
